This is the second paint scheme of CSX that was modification of the first one, which was introducd in September 1986, these engines displayed B&O, C&O, SBD or WM sublettering until October 1987 when CSX completed the merger and the "CSXT" reporting marks where introduced and the former rosad sublettering was abandoned and replaced with "CSXT;" however, the old road sub letter did survive for many years, and some survived to the engines being repainted or retired. |
